Leading to where we are today
Environmentally conscious hay producers. We feature forage created the natural way: Sun-dried, no preservatives, no dyes. Our fields are pesticide free, non-GMO. With fields in Willington, Connecticut and Amsterdam, New York, we feed Connecticut equines. Keep Connecticut agriculture alive – buy forage locally! Feel Good Farms is proudly owned by Vince and Diane Sinosky.
Vince grew up in Willington, Connecticut and ever since he was a little boy, he wanted to make hay. His dad, Vincent Sr. jokes about how whenever young Vincie saw the neighbor go by on his tractor, Vincie would be over at the window in a flash to catch any action. Vince made his first bale of hay at 14 years old on the family’s weekend farm in Franklinville, NY. Vince went on to get an agricultural science degree from the University of Connecticut while starting his Connecticut hay business in 2006. The business has grown steadily over the past decade, an in 2108, Vince quit his job at the University of Connecticut to transition from a part-time hay farmer to a fully dedicated hay farm owner. We have now served hundreds of customers over the state.
Diane Sinosky grew up horse-crazy in Connecticut. Like many little girls, she could not get enough of horses. She was lucky enough to start taking riding lessons at five years old and got her first horse at seven. At eleven, her parents made the decision to go “all-in” and bought a horse farm in Tolland, Connecticut where Diane got to spend the rest of her childhood on horseback, showing Arabians and National Show Horses across the US.
Vince and Diane met back in 2008 when Diane hired Vince to truck her horse from Vermont to Connecticut. They have since married and had two beautiful daughters, Julia and Aubrey. The family’s goal is to become first generation farmer owners returning to agriculture as the primary income for the family. Using rented land as a starting point, their strong desire to farm has created a grassroots approach to build a business where hopefully someday their girls can go riding in their backyard whenever they want 🙂
